The SIGMA MC-21 mount converter allows you more freedom of choice for L-Mount cameras from SIGMA, Leica Camera and Panasonic, if you own compatible lenses for the Canon EF mount.
Attaching the MC-21 converter to Canon EF mount lenses allows them to be used as L-Mount system lenses, enhancing the extensibility of the L-Mount system and compatible camera models.
Fast and accurate auto focus:
The SIGMA Canon EF to L Mount converter offers fast and precise autofocus capabilities, enabling high-precision AF photography in AF-S mode for sharp and clear images. However, please note that it is not compatible with AF-C mode.
Lens data is pre-loaded:
By running the data pre-loaded in the MC-21 for each lens via a special control program, autofocus and aperture control have already been optimised. For upcoming lens releases, data will be stored within the lens itself, eliminating the need for MC-21 firmware updates. Moreover, the MC-21 converter provides support for camera correction functions like peripheral illumination, chromatic aberration of magnification, and distortion.
Tripod mount:
This mount converter comes equipped with a socket for attaching a tripod. Lenses not equipped with a tripod socket can be used by mounting the tripod to the MC-21 converter.
Inside flocking:
To ensure optimal lens performance and prevent any degradation caused by internal reflections, the inside surface of the converter's barrel is coated with flocking material. This flocking effectively absorbs stray light, enhancing image quality and reducing unwanted glare or flares in your photographs.
Inclusion in Exif data
Information such as lens type, focal length, F number, and other tags are embedded as Exif data in each image file.
